White Lotus Buddhist Center is happy to announce that Khenpo Konchok Monlam will be in residence for approximately three months this year (2017) starting the end of January. A highly educated Lama in the Drikung Kagyu lineage, he received the title of Khenpo (Abbott) in 2009 from H.H. Drikung Chetsang Rinpoche. Khenpo has been teaching for eleven years at Kagyu College in Dehra Dun, India. His main areas are Buddhist philosophy, Madhyamika, and Tibetan Grammar. In addition, Monlam has authored a book on basic Buddhist teachings for the young monks at Drikung Kagyu Institute. He has, in recent years, visited Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan and Germany teaching at Dharma centers there.
